20 SXSW Films You Need To Know About
17. Hello, My Name Is Doris
On the other side of the comedy/drama divide is Hello, My Name Is Doris, the latest from veteran funny man Michael Showalter, who this time is mostly behind the camera. Leading the film is Sally Field, who you'll recognise as either Aunt May or Mrs Gump.
Here she's sixty-year-old office worker Doris, who is convinced by a self-help seminar to romantically pursue her younger co-worker (Max Greenfield, aka Schmidt from New Girl). Sweet, charming, and hilarious.
