5. What if Arthur Was A Rubbish Ruler?

The Film: The Sword In The Stone Answer: Like most children his age, Arthur has the qualities of innocence and seeing the good in people, which fade away as you become older. Arthur has that magic in him that he will still see the good even at the end of all things, which will eventually make him a strong and rational leader. (Hopefully). But what about the years before he learns regality? What if Arthur was completely incompetent as a leader? He was clearly a terrible squire. Would the people still think it was a good idea to base the future leadership of the entire kingdom on anyone who can pull a sword out of a stone? Definitely not, they'd probably have to set up an actual democracy or something...
