20 Things You Didn’t Know About Spider-Man: Into The Spider-Verse
15. The Electrocution Scene Is Surprisingly Accurate
When a cartoon character gets shocked, there is usually a shot of their bones lighting up, to highlight the electricity is surging through their entire body.
Although Into the Spider-Verse utilises this trope, it does something a little different. When Miles electrocutes Peter B. Parker during their first encounter, it's not Peter's skeleton that glows, but his nervous system. Because nerves conduct more electricity than bones, this image is scientifically accurate.
Even though this shot appears for less than a second, it demonstrates how much effort was put into every frame of this movie.
