2. Aliens Could Have Ended Up Being Prometheus
In the planning stages of an Alien sequel, there was talk of making it without Sigourney Weaver. Other avenues were explored, such as the answer to what happened to the Space Jockey from the first Alien film.
This was one of cinemas longest running easter eggs, as fans had many theories about who the Space Jockey was, and how it got there.
We have had a resolution (sort of) to this particular point in the ever devisive film Prometheus, which explored what the Space Jockeys were, if not what happened to that specific one on LV-426.
