20 Things You Didn't Know About Die Hard 2

14. There's A LEGENDARY Made-For-TV Cut Of The Movie

Because American TV networks absolutely insist on airing butchered, obscenely edited versions of R-rated movies, YouTube is a treasure trove of montages capturing just how ridiculous these made-for-TV edits can be.

And Die Hard 2 just might be the most famous - or infamous? - of the lot, with TBS airing a version which extensively re-dubbed all of the profanity.

Several of the voiceover artists ultimately sound nothing like the actors they're dubbing, especially whoever was responsible for "fixing" Bruce Willis' dialogue.

Incredibly, McClane's iconic send-off, "Yippee-ki-yay, motherf***er" was changed to, "Yippee-ki-yay, Mr. Falcon", presumably because Esperanza's codename earlier in the film is said to be "Falcon."

It is, at least, one of the most entertaining instances of cinematic censorship you're ever likely to see.
