3. You Can Still Request DVDs

With Blockbuster and Lovefilm having long since been killed off, and the continuing dominance of digital media in just about every sector of the entertainment industry, you'd be forgiven for thinking that DVD rentals are a thing of the past.

But bizarrely, you can still get physical discs from Netflix. Their site, DVD.com, allows U.S. customers to have movies and shows sent directly to them in the mail, choosing from a catalogue that contains more options than the company's digital service.

In 2019, over 2.5 million Americans were reported to still be using Netflix DVD rentals, so it's clearly still doing well enough to warrant ongoing support.
