20 Things You Didn't Know About No Country For Old Men
4. No Final Showdown
No Country For Old Men follows the story of Llewelyn Moss, a Vietnam War veteran who stumbles across a drug deal gone wrong and finds himself a briefcase containing $2 Million dollars.
What follows is a cat-and-mouse chase as hitman, Anton Chigurh attempts to track down Moss and the money, while Sheriff Ed Tom Bell tries to catch up with Chigurh, who has embarked on a murderous rampage in hope of finding the stolen cash.
Josh Brolin, Javier Bardem and Tommy Lee Jones play the lead roles of Moss, Chigurh and Bell respectively. However, the three lead actors never share any face-to-face screen time during the film. In fact, Jones has the least screen time out of the three but still receives top billing in the movie.
The viewer never gets to see a thrilling showdown between the main protagonists, which you would expect from a Western movie, but then again, this isn’t your typical Western.
