14. Schwarzenegger Trained A Lot For The Role
In order to act more like a machine, Schwarzenegger trained extensively for the role. One of his training exercises was to cover his eyes and learn how to dismantle, reload, and reassemble guns on the fly.
Of course, the effect of this is that the Terminator never looks at his weapon when he is reloading in the film, making it far more unsettling. Schwarzenegger mastered the art of looking robotic.
A similar technique was used by Robert Patrick when training for Terminator 2, as he learned how to shoot his weapon without blinking.
