Back before Terminator 2, the rule of thumb seemed to be that anyone that played a Terminator needed to be buff.

This applied to the menacing infiltrator Terminator that appears in Kyle’s nightmare of the future war. Franco Columbu, a long-time friend of Schwarzenegger's, and fellow bodybuilder, plays this role.

Although he is only seen for a brief moment, Columbu’s massive stature adds a level of menace to the small part.
