20 Things You Didn't Know About The Xenomorph
5. All In The Family
If the events of the Alien: Isolation videogame are to be considered canon, then you simply cannot ignore that the Alien Drone responsible for terrorising Amanda Ripley is part of the same bloodline that originally hunted her own mother, warrant officer Ellen Ripley.
During the game, a character is impregnated by a Facehugger from LV-426, the former colony that James Cameron visited in his blockbuster movie sequel. Although Ripley kills the Queen at the end of the film, it is later revealed through canon that there was a second, one that was left to rebuild the Hive once Ripley had left.
This new Queen was descended from the first, making Alien: Isolation's Drone her grandchild, turning the game into a bit of a revenge story for the Xenomorphs, when you actually sit and think about it.
