20 Things You May Have Missed In Creed
11. The Boxing Scenes Were Lent An Extra Dose Of Authenticity
True to franchise tradition, Creed featured real-life pugilists whose presence gave the boxing scenes they inhabited a considerable degree of realism. Actual fighters from past films included the likes of Antonio Tarver, Tommy Morrison, wrestlers Hulk Hogan and Mr. T, and martial artist Dolph Lundgren.
Clearly, the spinoff had to secure imposing fighting talent to match its predecessors, and it did so with gusto. In addition to the previously mentioned Tony Bellew, Creed featured Andre Ward, Gabriel Rosado, Malik Bazille and Tyrone Crawley Jr.
While the latter two do not feature as prominently as Bellew's Conlan, Ward and Rosado have a bit more to do, with the former playing Danny 'Stuntman' Wheeler and the latter taking on the role of Leo Sporino.
