19. Tessa Thompson's Contribution To The Film's Soundtrack
Due to solid writing and Tessa Thompson's performance, Bianca Taylor had a lot more to her than just being a love interest for Adonis Creed. As an aspiring musician with progressive hearing loss, Bianca's personal arc may have been in the background but still helped in fleshing out the film's world.
The character received an extra layer of authenticity due to Thompson's own background as a musician and one-time member of indie soul band Caught A Ghost. This enabled her to write and perform three songs for the movie's soundtrack (Grip, Breathe, and Shed You).
In addition this, she worked with composer Ludwig Goransson on developing Bianca's musical side as well as the aforementioned songs.
