20 Things You Somehow Missed In Avatar

14. James Cameron's Voice Cameo

Avatar Jake Neytiri

Though James Cameron generally keeps himself behind the camera, he does tend to insert his own voice into his movies in a way that's not immediately noticeable.

Even so, with Cameron having a fairly distinctive voice, if you pay extremely close attention during Avatar when Quaritch orders the RDA forces to assault Hometree, Cameron's voice can indeed be heard on the other end of a radio transmission.

As two RDA officers are conversing, one of them can be heard saying, "Roger that. Stay on heading 030," and if you know what Cameron sounds like, you might be able to identify it as him.

Yet his dialogue is massaged into the sound mix subtly enough that you couldn't be blamed for missing it either.
