20 Things You Somehow Missed In Captain America: Civil War

The Marvel Cinematic Universe is no stranger to being the center of the pop culture universe. Whether you’re a huge fan of the franchise or a more casual, mainstream cinemagoer, there are some scenes that are impossible to miss.

Many of these are thrown at audiences in the form of memes across the internet. Arguably one of the most popular of these is when Thor tells Hela that he knows he can’t defeat her, but Surtur can. The moment from Thor: Ragnarok has become an iconic image in the realms of the internet, and has been adapted in more than a few different scenarios.

However, this exact situation actually played out in the franchise a year before Ragnarok was ever released in the cinemas. After trying to liberate Wanda from Avengers HQ and getting his ass kicked, Clint was told by Vision that he couldn’t overpower him. Hawkeye knew that, but be he also knew that Wanda could.

This is so similar to the Thor/Hela/Surtur scene, though granted the latter is on a bigger scale, but this one most certainly came first.
