It goes without saying that Tom Cruise goes above and beyond while preparing for his roles. From learning slight of hand for the first Mission: Impossible, to learning how to play pool for 1986's The Colour of Money, the actor will leave no stone unturned while crafting his characters.
As noted earlier on this list Collateral was no different as Cruise underwent vast weapons training. However, to further flesh out Vincent, he and Michael Mann agreed that he needed to learn infiltration...by taking a job as a UPS courier.
The video demonstrates how easy Cruise could slip into the unassuming role and deceive everyday customers despite his fame. During an interview with the DGA Quarterly Magazine, Mann mentioned that he had the actor stalk people from the director's office, so there's that as well.
