1. Kurt Russell's Dying Scream From Death Proof Is Used In The Climax

Shosanna's plan to blow up the cinema finally plays out, then, and the entire assembled German high command is taken out in a glorious inferno.

In one hilarious shot, we get to see a German officer propelled through one of the cinema's windows by a huge explosion, and to make it even better, the officer lets out a ridiculously over-the-top, blood-curdling scream.

If you thought this scream sounded familiar, that's because it was actually lifted wholesale from Tarantino's previous film, Death Proof. In that film's finale, Kurt Russell's murderous villain Stuntman Mike lets out the exact same scream after crashing his car.

As fun as it would've been for this to become Tarantino's own deranged riff on the long-tired Wilhelm Scream, it sadly doesn't seem to have been used in any of his movies since.
