17. Aldo Raine Only Kills ONE Person In The Entire Movie
Given the extreme amount of death that occurs throughout the film, you'd be forgiven for assuming that Lieutenant Aldo Raine (Brad Pitt) actually takes far more lives than he does.
But in terms of direct kills, we only ever see Aldo murder a single person on screen, and better yet, it comes right at the end of the film.
In the final scene, when Landa surrenders himself to the Basterds alongside his radio operator, Hermann, Raine promptly pulls a gun and shoots Hermann dead, before ordering Utivich (B. J. Novak) to scalp him, much to Landa's dismay.
Though Raine certainly commands his fair share of Nazi slaughter (and scalping) throughout the film, this is the only kill he carries out himself.
