20 Things You Somehow Missed In Kill Bill Volume 2

7. B.B. "Shooting" Her Mother Is Foreshadowed

When Beatrix finally reaches Bill's hotel room, she's surprised with the news that her daughter B.B. (Perla Haney-Jardine) is indeed alive, as she points a toy gun at her mother and shouts "Bang bang!"

This is neatly foreshadowed at the very start of the first Kill Bill, when Nancy Sinatra's iconic "Bang Bang (My Baby Shot Me Down)" memorably plays over the opening credits.

The lyrics, "My baby shot me down, bang bang," are literally what we see B.B. doing the first time she sees her mother. There's just no way this was a coincidence on Tarantino's part.
