6. The Credits Confirm Elle's Ambiguous Fate
Years before the Marvel Cinematic Universe started making us all sit through 15 minutes of credits, Volume 2 had its own epic end credits sequence, enough that you might've simply turned it off mid-way and missed something vitally important.
After the first batch of general credits for the main cast, Tarantino cuts to a shot of Beatrix driving her car in black-and-white while a roll call appears on screen for the various members of the DiVAs, whose names are then promptly crossed out per their deaths.
But when Daryl Hannah's name flashes across the screen, the strikethrough is instead replaced with a "?," cementing the ambiguity of Elle's apparent demise and leaving her true fate very much up in the air.
Needless to say, if Kill Bill Volume 3 ever does happen, Tarantino will surely have to address this loose thread in some form.
