20 Things You Somehow Missed In Never Say Never Again

17. Manning Redwood As Another American Diplomat

Another very vocal diplomat at the NATO briefing (even more so than Rietti's Italian minister, in fact) is Manning Redwood's General Miller, who directly challenges Anthony Sharp's Lord Ambrose and Edward Fox's M over the theft of the nuclear warheads, alleging that the news of the hijacking has probably been leaked to the Kremlin as well.

Although several cast and crew members have noted that Eon Productions were not best pleased with those who appeared in this unofficial rival film, Manning Redwood went on to appear in Roger Moore's last outing as Double-0 Seven, A View to a Kill, two years later.

Benefiting from a slightly larger role in that film, Redwood portrayed the manager of the Main Strike Silver Mine, Bob Conley, who is knocked unconscious by Patrick Bauchau's Scarpine and subsequently drowned when Christopher Walken's psychotic Max Zorin floods the mine.

I started writing for WhatCulture in July 2020. I have always enjoyed reading and writing. I have contributed to several short story competitions and I have occasionally been fortunate enough to have my work published. During the COVID-19 lockdown, I also started reviewing films on my Facebook page. Numerous friends and contacts suggested that I should start my own website for reviewing films, but I wanted something a bit more diverse - and so here I am! My interests focus on film and television mainly, but I also occasionally produce articles that venture into other areas as well. In particular, I am a fan of the under appreciated sequel (of which there are many), but I also like the classics and the mainstream too.
