There are several points on this list alone that confirm Quentin Tarantino’s movies all inhabit a shared universe of sorts, but the director himself has suggested that there are actually two separate universes in his movie catalogue.

The likes of From Dusk Til Dawn and Kill Bill take place in a movie universe within the universe, meaning these are the movies the characters of Reservoir Dogs and Pulp Fiction watch when they go to the cinema. Since Uma Thurman has had a role in both universes, what if she is actually technically playing Mia Wallace in both?

Of course, she plays Mia in Pulp Fiction, but if Kill Bill is a movie in the Pulp Fiction story, is Mia the star of the show who plays The Bride? This could even have been inspired in a way by the failed Fox Force Five pilot she was famous for.

As Mia explained, her character was Raven McCoy, one-fifth of the titular team of deadly secret agents, and claimed to be the deadliest woman in the world with a knife. Swap the knives out for swords and drop the corny jokes and you’ve got The Bride. Her 15 minutes of fame may have stretched out a lot longer than that.
