20 Things You Somehow Missed In Scream

5. There's A Ridiculous Dubbing Mistake

No movie is perfect, though Scream features one especially egregious mistake where its automatic dialogue replacement (ADR) dubbing is concerned.

Deep in the third act when Sidney sees Dewey stumble out of the house with a knife in his back, she screams "Dewey!", yet it's hilariously obvious that her mouth movements actually say "No!"

Clearly, Wes Craven didn't like the way the take turned out and assumed nobody would actually notice that the spoken dialogue didn't match the mouth movements. But this being the Internet and all, someone always notices.

This isn't the only time this happens in the film, but it's by far the sloppiest example.
