20 Things You Somehow Missed In The Hateful Eight

Tarantino's love for John Carpenter's The Thing is best expressed through the fact that The Hateful Eight actually features three pieces of unused music from The Thing's musical score, as was composed by Western legend Ennio Morricone.

The tracks, "Eternity", "Bestiality", and "Despair," were incorporated into this movie due to Morricone's time constraints while assembling The Hateful Eight's score.

But that's not the only horror movie Tarantino paid aural homage to - he also used "Regan's Theme" from Morricone's score for 1977's Exorcist II: The Heretic.

Not-so-fun, totally baffling fact: Morricone's The Thing score received a Razzie nomination for Worst Original Score. What the hell?
