One would be forgiven for thinking that improvisation does not belong in a franchise flick as these films are planned out years in advance. That said, even the MCU has room for an unexpected gag or line that fees seamless despite its spontaneous nature.

The first Iron Man feature famously featured a fair amount of improvisation, and Thor: Ragnarok somehow managed to surpass that picture's on the spot nature. Looking back, this makes sense since the cosmic threequel was the MCU's most comedic entry up until that point.

From Matt Damon's cameo to the "Get Help" gag, the film's spontaneity helped its quality. In fact, Taika Waititi revealed that nearly 80% of the film was improvised in some capacity.
