As mentioned before, some actors in the franchise were not pleased with the state of the Thor films. However, none of them compare to Chris Hemsworth's frustrations, particularly with his character's arc.
In an interview with Vanity Fair, the Australian actor stated that he was not exactly proud of his work in the Dark World and felt that a drastic overhaul of the God of Thunder's persona was sorely needed. Fortunately, Taika Waititi shared his sentiments and their work on reinventing the character was a success.
Oddly enough, recent times have seen Hemsworth once again express his desire for another character reimagining following the release of Thor: Love and Thunder.
