20 Underwhelming Movies From Star Wars Actors You Must Avoid

16. Cowboys & Aliens

Natalie Portman Thor 2
Universal Pictures

Actor:

Harrison Ford (Han Solo)

The Film:

Harrison Ford has firmly cemented his place as one of the greatest action stars of them all, but the 21st century has been somewhat quiet for him. He doesn't do as many films anymore, so it's a true mystery as to why he decided to be in this monumentally dumb hybrid of Western and Science-Fiction.

Jon Favreau failed to repeat his stellar work on Iron Man and, despite the best efforts of Harrison Ford and Daniel Craig, this was a deserving box office bomb. The fatal blow was how dull and serious it was; anything with that title should be far more tongue-in-cheek and light in the vein of, say, Snakes on a Plane. Instead it's a moody, gloomy affair with the miserable personality of a Twilight vampire.

Out of all the offers Harrison Ford was no doubt getting, why pick this?
