20 Underwhelming Movies From Star Wars Actors You Must Avoid

15. Now You See Me

Natalie Portman Thor 2
Summit Entertainment

Actor:

Woody Harrelson (Tobias Beckett)

The Film:

Woody Harrelson is only getting better with age. He's arguably one of the best American actors in the business and these days he's nearly always good, but he gave an uncharacteristically mediocre performance as one of the magicians/bank robbers in the 2013 blockbuster misfire Now You See Me. This was about a year before his career-best work in True Detective.

Now You See Me is not a good movie. It had a cast to die for and a great premise, but the film is a confusing and illogical mess with one of the dumbest plot twists in recent memory. It makes the fatal mistake of getting less and less thrilling as it goes along and Jesse Eissenberg's insufferably smug lead performance will often have you wanting to punch the screen.
