9. The Human Centipede III (Final Sequence)
The Franchise: Possibly the most unlikely series in cinema history, the demented brainchild of writer-director Tom Six, which revolves largely around stitching numerous people together a**-to-mouth. Despite grossing practically nothing at the box office and boasting a premise sure to instantly turn millions off, Six has somehow made a trilogy out of this vile concept. Sequel Status: The third movie was filmed roughly two years ago, and just recently was announced for a theatrical and VOD release date of May 22nd. In addition to the previous two movies' stars Dieter Laser and Laurence R. Harvey returning in new roles, the cast also includes Oscar-nominated actor Eric Roberts, porn star Bree Olson and Six playing himself. Why It Needs To Be The Last One: The first movie was a joke someone drunkenly suggested at a bar dragged out to feature length, but by this point, The Human Centipede is an enterprise all on its own, and it's just not that funny anymore. Talk about taking a joke and driving it deep into the ground. How Likely Is It?: The "Final Sequence" aspect of the title suggests as much, and really, will there be anyone left to actually fund a fourth film even if Six changes his mind? 9/10.
