17. Teenage Mutant Ninja Turtles
New Line CinemaWhy It's Going To Suck:
Michael Bay's Involvement Granted, the trailers for this so far don't look quite as bad as fans of the original Teenage Mutant Ninja Turtles probably imaged they would, but - going from the exploding buildings and the fact that Megan Fox has been cast as April - there's no mistaking the fact that Michael Bay's fingerprints are all over this thing. Going by the recent terribleness that was Transformers: Age of Extinction, then, it seems futile to imagine things will turn out fine. Okay, so Michael Bay isn't actually directing this movie, which at least offers out a bit of hope - but let's not forget that director Jonathan Liebesman doesn't have a particularly good track record either (Wrath of the Titans, anyone), and has presumably been employed as a sort of Bay surrogate. One can literally imagine Bay standing over Liebesman's shoulder, nodding and saying things like: "Yeah, that's it. Make it explode, Jonathan. Explode!"
