5. Sebastian Stan - Victor Frankenstein & The Creature (Frankenstein in Romania)
It's easy to feel like we're starting to reach saturation point with all the Frankenstein movies made as of late, but here's one that stands far away from the pack.
Frankenstein in Romania is the latest film from wildly idiosyncratic Romanian filmmaker Radu Jude (Bad Luck Banging or Loony Porn), and it's immediately set to be Jude's most high-profile work to date considering that it will star Sebastian Stan.
In a fascinatingly bold move, Stan will play both Victor Frankenstein and the creature he creates, and though we don't know a whole lot more about the film than that, that's more than enough to pique the interest of many.
The Romanian-born Stan has been seeking out a project to collaborate with Jude on for a good while now, and the pair recently landed on what we can assume will probably be the weirdest Frankenstein movie of all time, given Jude's utterly unhinged output to date.
