20 Useless Things You Probably Never Knew About Star Wars

1. All Official Clone Trooper Suits Are Fake

Star Wars fans have had to put up with a lot of merchandising foul ups over the years, we've already discussed how every minor character gets an action figure, but it took a long time after Revenge of the Sith was released for this particular fact to hit the public:

None of the Clone Trooper uniforms are real, they are all CGI.

Not only does this make you marvel at the quality of the CGI work in Attack of the Clones and Revenge of the Sith, it also makes you wonder about all the people who have (definitely) purchased Clone Trooper armour labelled as 'official' and 'genuine prop'.

Sorry to tell you all but they are definitely not official or genuine as the Star Wars props team never, ever made a set of Clone armour for the films. Imagine if they'd had to make that many costumes... like they had to in the original trilogy for all those Stormtrooper extras.

Too much like hard work, obviously.

What other useless Star Wars facts do you know? Share them down in the comments.
