Where did this come from? How did it find its way on the big screen? Who in their right mind would agree to appear in such a thing? We're past caring about the answers to these very relevant questions, because we've collectively realised that there's no real answers to any of them. The fact that Movie 43 actually exists - that you can go and buy it in shops and online with real money and everything - is proof enough that there is genuinely logic in the universe. Which is another way of saying: this is awful. What was supposed to be an entertaining comedy anthology (brought to you courtesy of the Farrelly Brothers - remember them?) is actually a mean-spirited, eyebrow-raising and tragically unfunny venture into all that is wrong with modern movies. Hugh Jackman, Kate Winslet, Halle Berry, Richard Gere... they all show up to subliminally inform us that they all need to get new agents. It really doesn't get much worse than this.
