Making a worthwhile sequel to even the greatest of comedy movies is nearly impossible even if all the elements are in place (just ask Ghostbusters II), but what happens when you set out to create a follow-up to what is arguably the worst comedy movie of all-time? You get a new contender for "Worst Comedy Movie of All-Time," of course. So Adam Sandler, Kevin James, David Spade and Chris Rock (deserves so much better) got back on the saddle for - sigh - Grown Ups 2. To say that Grown Ups 2 is an insult to terrible sequels is an insult terrible sequels: here's the rare movie that is firing on absolutely no cylinders. Even in a bad comedy movie they'll usually be at least moment whereby you find yourself admitting a little chuckle: not here. The "jokes" are as low-brow as you'd expect from 2013 Adam Sandler: entire set-pieces are even based around bodily functions. Grown Ups 2 isn't even a movie... it's a relentless, 2 hour punishment vehicle.
