20 Worst Movies Of 2016
6. The Do-Over
Please, for the love of God Netflix, stop making Adam Sandler movies. So far we've seen two and both have been absolute busts, taking money away from better, worthier Netflix original properties or from their fund to actually have an online library that doesn't have to be cut every month.
It's not like they could possibly be seeing any worth in what he makes: The Ridiculous 6 was horrendous, and now this comedy caper with a heart is equally trash. Starring Sandler and the always unwatchable David Spade (here's a hint, if you're lead man has built a career on being obnoxious, don't try and make him the likeable everyman type), it's about midlife crisis, reclaiming identity and that lol-tastic element inoperable cancer.
And when that last stinger comes, it's delivered as if it's supposed to be a profound revelation and should be enough to forgive the stupidity that came before it. It's not and it isn't, and rather wonderfully Netflix still have two more Sandler projects yet to come.
