3. The Haunting Of Sharon Tate
Boasting a truly woeful 9 out of 100 on Metacritic, The Haunting Of Sharon Tate retells the tragic murder of the Hollywood film star at the hands of the Manson family with a gory mix of incredibly amateurish horror effects and woeful direction.
Hilary Duff’s Sharon Tate is plagued by constant visions of her own gruesome death before her demise actually happens. It’s gory for the sake of it, yet rarely all that shocking. It feels like it’s trying to gross you out, and puts all the effort into that rather than storytelling. It expects you to connect with Tate because she’s Tate, and doesn’t bother characterising her.
If you want to watch Lizzie McGuire scream continuously and be horrifically murdered, this might be the movie for you. For everyone else, check out Quentin Tarantino's far superior Once Upon A Time In Hollywood.
