20 Worst Movies Of 2021 (So Far)

In the grand tradition of beloved kids' IP being jolted back to life for a live-action/animated hybrid movie, the new Tom & Jerry film isn't very good. Like, at all.

With an overabundance of pandering social media references, an awful soundtrack, and an infuriating focus on dull humans over the titular duo, Tom & Jerry is exactly what everyone expected.

Chloë Grace Moretz tries to charm the film up but is helpless in trying to make her unlikeable protagonist appealing, and far too often Tom and Jerry themselves feel like passengers in their own movie.

Beyond the slick animation, there's very little to recommend here. Our kids all deserve better.
