20 Worst Movies Of 2022
5. Blackout
In Blackout, Josh Duhamel plays an amnesiac who finds himself being targeted by various cartels. Sadly, every aspect of this thriller is as derivative as the premise. Nick Nolte is so low-energy, you know he took this gig just to pay the bills. (Also, why does he look like he's calling an Uber on the poster?)
As impressive as the action sequences are, that doesn't make up for the cringeworthy dialogue. There are so many generic lines and predictable twists, I would believe you if you told me the entire script was written by an AI.
Also, Blackout takes the crown for the worst continuity of the year. Props disappear and hairstyles change in-between shots with such regularity, you feel like you're watching a magic show... or a really, really bad movie.
Blackout may only be a measly 81 minutes long, but you'll feel like you're wasting your life if you have the misfortune of watching this colossal stinker.
