4. The Final Boss Fight (Resident Evil: Afterlife)
The final "boss fight" of the fourth Resident Evil film is a thing of demented, mind-boggling beauty, as Alice, Claire and Chris Redfield (an atrocious Wentworth Miller) take on Albert Wesker (Shawn Roberts).
It begins with Wesker's hilariously hammy speech about "ingesting" Alice to redress his DNA balance (or something), before he throws his glasses in slow-mo (because 3D, of course) and basically enables God Mode, teleporting around the room and backflipping for no other reason than because it looks super-cool.
Alice then defeats two Las Plagas-infected dogs before blasting Wesker's mutated head to pieces, and when Wesker tries to recover, Chris and Claire shoot him in the chest like fifty times to confirm the kill.
It's gloriously absurd and pretty much the epitome of what entertaining, over-the-top nonsense these films have become in recent years.
