2. Elle Fanning - The Hunger Games: Sunrise On The Reaping
The casting director for The Hunger Games: Sunrise on the Reaping absolutely cooked, and there's surely no better indication of this than recent Oscar nominee Elle Fanning's casting as a younger version of Capitol stylist Effie Trinket.
For one, Fanning bears an obvious physical resemblance to Elizabeth Banks, who played the older Effie in the original Hunger Games films, but beyond that, it's incredibly easy to see her bringing the pep and eccentricity necessary to the part.
Fanning has been a popular fan-casting for the role ever since Suzanne Collins' novel was released, and while many fan-casts are simply far off the mark, in this case, it was absolutely worth listening to.
In an ensemble populated by some seriously heavyweight acting talent including Jesse Plemons, Ralph Fiennes, Kieran Culkin, and Glenn Close, it's Fanning who seems to be the most spot-on casting pick, honestly.
Just try and think of someone better-suited to play Effie.
