20 Recent Movie Rumours That Were Total BULL
15. Mister Negative Will Appear - Spider-Man: Brand New Day
The Rumour:
After a devil-like insignia was spotted on a tank during the shooting of Spider-Man: Brand New Day, comic book fans swiftly came to believe that the sequel would introduce Mister Negative - a villain best known for his presence in Insomniac's Spider-Man video games, and for leading a gang called the Inner Demons.
The Truth:
This definitely made a decent amount of sense, especially considering the character's surge in popularity in recent years, but no, Mister Negative does not appear in Brand New Day in any way, shape or form.
It's probably just as well, considering the film already boasts quite the roster of villains, including Tombstone (Marvin Jones III), Scorpion (Michael Mando), Jean Grey (Sadie Sink), Bill Metzger (Tramell Tillman), and The Hand.
But with Tom Holland's Spider-Man expected to return for at least two more movies, there's still plenty of opportunity for Mister Negative to make his MCU debut.
