21 Jump Street Sequel: 4 Dos and 4 Don'ts To Make It Work

1. Do: Bring Back Phil Lord And Chris Miller

Phil Lord The original film's screenwriter Michael Bacall is back to write the sequel but the film's director's Phil Lord and Chris Miller, haven't signed on to direct yet. I hope Lord and Miller come back. They already know the characters of Schmidt and Jenko quite well, as well as how to get strong performances out of Hill and Tatum, which makes them the best choice to move the series forward. Their comedic sensibilities fit the material perfectly- they balanced the humour, action, meta references and character development and made it all click together. If they made it work once, who's to say that can't do it again? Now I turn it over to you. What do you want to see in a 21 Jump Street sequel and what do you think the filmmakers should avoid when making the film. Let me know.
