21 Things Horror Movies Ruined For Every One

21. Traveling Abroad

Notable offenders: An American Werewolf in London (1981), Wolf Creek (2005), Hostel (2005) If you plan on leaving your home country and traveling internationally there are a few things you should do in preparation. Bring a cellphone charger adapter. Look up the monetary conversion rates before you go. Make sure your credit card will work in the country you're visiting. Pack an extra set of clothes in your carry-on bag. Bring copies of your passport with you. Check-in with your doctor and insurance carrier before you leave. And so on and so fourth. However, if you let a film like Eli Roth's Hostel tell it, then traveling to a foreign country with nothing but a backpack and a cellphone (that hardly gets any reception) is a terrible idea indeed. One minute you're at the club doing drugs and partying and the next minute you're in a facility that lets rich clients pay to torture and kill unsuspecting travelers who should have stayed at home.
