1. The "Lesser" Awards Are Relegated To A Recap Video
As Stephen Fry took leave of us, we're left with a brief video recap of the awards that weren't included on the broadcast, the "lesser" awards for categories such as Cinematography, Documentary, Original Score, Short Film and so on. Nobody loves overlong awards ceremonies, but doesn't this just seem vaguely dismissive of those recipients, especially considering that some of them aren't exactly unknowns struggling to makes names for themselves (Emmanuel Lubezki and Ennio Morricone both won, but coincidentally both weren't at the ceremony)?
