Wilson gave easily the most entertaining speech of the night, coming out and mockingly calling the BAFTAs a "really serious event", before adding, "I have never been invited to the Oscars, because as you know, they are racists." She then says, "The BAFTAs have diverse members, and that's what we all want to see in life, isn't it? Diverse members", and says that in the event she ever wins a BAFTA, she has been practicing her "trans-gendered face". And finally, she hits on Idris Elba, claiming that he's making her nervous, and that she's "sociologically programmed to want chocolate on Valentine's Day." Say what you will about the fairly unambitious roles Wilson has landed in hit comedies so far, but she's damn hilarious, and brought the house down.
