21. Idris Elba
Idris Elba has portrayed the all-seeing Asgardian Heimdall in the Marvel Cinematic Universe since 2011. As well as appearing in both of the Thor movies to date, he also appeared in the vision that Thor experienced thanks to the Scarlet Witch's powers in Avengers: Age of Ultron. In addition to that, he played the priest Moreau in 2012's Ghost Rider: Spirit of Vengeance. He's apparently not a fan of working with Marvel, but he's done a decent job with them nonetheless and he will have to reprise his role as Heimdall again in the future. A lesser-known role for Elba came in the form of his performance as William Roque in 2010's The Losers, following the elite black ops team whose stories were published by Vertigo, which is an imprint of DC. Elba's character was an expert in deactivating and detonating explosives.
