11. Head Bashed In With Bowling Pin - There Will Be Blood
The Murder: Beaten to pulp with a bowling pin. Who: Eli Sunday. By Whom: Daniel Plainview. Motive: Daniel was sick and tired of Eli. What Makes It Insane? The intense final scene of There Will Be Blood shows how insane Daniel Plainview truly was. Eli, the annoying young man who spread the word of God, approached Daniel to offer to broker a land deal. Daniel agreed but forced Eli to say "I am a false prophet, God is a superstition", multiple times. Daniel then revealed the land is worthless to him because he already drained all of its oil through the surrounding oil rigs. Eli beaks down and begs Daniel for money - he confesses his financial issues and his sins. Daniel viciously calls him a fool and an "afterbirth" of his twin brother and Eli becomes hysterical. Daniel corners him the room and then bashes his head in with a bowling pin.
