PA4 features a ton of ridiculous product placement for the Microsoft Kinect, a motion-sensing gaming device popular around the time of the film's release (but used by few nowadays). It's shown off in several scenes to demonstrate that, through a night-vision lens, the device's tracking dots can be seen, and when Alex's young brother Wyatt starts talking to Toby one night, the faint outline of Toby can be seen behind him thanks to the Kinect. Aren't these movies low-budget and effortlessly successful enough that product placement just feels greedy at this point?
