5. Colours Have Different Meanings
Typically the colour red is associated with danger and green symbolises the good and natural. In the wizarding world, red and green signify a contrast of good and evil, ultimately leading up to the battle in the Deathly Hallows. They have also been the colours of the spells whenever Harry and Voldemort have duelled, though they have switched meaning from traditional readings. Red is: Gryffindor, the Hogwart's express, the Weasley's hair, Fawkes, and the roof of the Burrow (and thus safety). Green is: Slytherin, the flash of light Harry saw when his mother was murdered, and Nagini.
