Release: 2015-16 Status: Ordered This drama adaptation from ABC is currently being considered for a potential summer straight-to-series order and is billed as a character-driven procedural with a sprinkling of supernatural flavours. Though the source is limited - since it's a short story - the show is likely to take the central premise of a woman who receives tip-offs of forthcoming tragedies from her dead husband as a jump-off point to do a case a week. Sort of like Ghost Writer. Prospects: High-concept procedurals are big business, even if CSI's enduring popularity suggests mainstream audiences love vanilla most - and the ghost story/detective sort of element was strong enough to get five seasons for Ghost Whisperer.
