Why You Forgot: At the time, the young actor was still appearing on NBC's 3rd Rock from the Sun, but he's come a long way since, with a star that just continues to keep on rising. Between his ability to choose strong roles and the fact that directors like Steven Spielberg, Christopher Nolan, Oliver Stone and Robert Zemeckis enjoy working with him, the actor isn't going anywhere.

At the time, though, the Halloween franchise was attempting to bounce back from the dwindling returns it had finally hit with Curse by bringing back Jamie Lee Curtis to the series and wiping the slate clean of the previous handful of sequels.
